A Common Enemy

2011

-You cannot leave anything in the back of a truck while shopping at another store for it may be stolen.

-You cannot leave your vehicle unlocked in your driveway for it may be rummaged through to find money.

-You cannot leave a purse in a locked vehicle in your driveway for it may be broken into and purse stolen.

-You find it necessary to purchase an Ident-A-Card for your child to aide in finding them if they were lost.

-Your child cannot 'hang out' around town for fear of being taken by a stranger.

-You cannot walk alone for exercise on a secluded path or street for you may be harmed.

-You cannot leave your child alone with "trusted adults" for they may be abused.

-God cannot be mentioned at school for fear of offending someone.

1990

-You could leave your house unlocked while sleeping through the night.

-You could leave your keys in your vehicle while running into the store to pick up a few items.

-You could allow your child to explore the town with friends and know they would return safely at curfew.

-You could choose wherever to enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise.

-Abuse was not a fear when trusting adults with your children.

-The Pledge of Allegiance was spoke every morning at school.  "One nation under God."

Where did America lose focus?  What goes through the minds of individuals who harm another?  Why are we so selfish?

The closer my relationship grows to God, the more hurt and pain I see in this world.  My heart breaks when seeing innocent people becoming victims.  The perpetrator must be experiencing such turmoil inside themselves to commit such sins.  They hurt so they feel another must hurt as well.  Hurting people, hurt people!  Thieves only thinks of themselves (see Philippians 2:2-4).

We have lost focus on God.  We want control.  We think we must please our flesh and neglect our spirit.  Too many individuals experience spiritual hunger.  When satan lies to us, we fall victim for our spirit knows no better.  The thieves and perpetrators in this world lack His Truth in their lives so in turn become victims to satan.  Satan remains the common enemy among all.  We need His Truths to guide us through every day, every situation.  Put your trust in Him, Our Creator.

 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13) 

God Bless America?

America needs to bless God.  If we have turned our backs on Him, why would He pour blessings on us? 

"The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.  The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled."  (Genesis 6:5-6)

God thank you for this day.  Thank You for the opportunity to spread Your Truths to those I encounter.  May You continue to strengthen my heart and those of hurting people so to see You and combat the lies of satan with Your Word.  May I turn to you always.  I love You.

Keep praying harder than the devil can work.
