The word FREE jumps off any page in today's society.  Not many items can be found free without some string attached.  Often times the fine print, typed too small for the naked eye to see, describes the catch.

People become excited when they visit fairs or carnivals and businesses set up tables giving away small items to advertise their service or product.  The free gifts often serve as a ploy to get you to the table and then sell you something.  I have worked in customer service way too long and realize that free items serve as bait to open your eyes to something the company sees worth purchasing.

Nothing in this life is completely free. . .

"The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life." (Revelation 22:17)

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

. . .Or is there?

At the moment of creation, you have a gift waiting for you to open.  Not a birthday present, Christmas present or any of that sorts.  A gift not of monetary value, BUT, one of eternal value.  God FREELY provides grace.  You only need to accept Him.  No work you can perform or money you present will buy this gift.  It is totally free, no strings attached.  The Bible contains no fine print.  All who come to Him will receive His Grace and enjoy the benefits.  God does not place a limit on recipients to the first 10,000 or so.  NO, EACH of His Children inherits His Grace.  Accept it!  You will not be disappointed in the results.  God guarantees satisfaction!

You need not wait for a special event to get His Gift.  He does not set up a table for all to come.  You can accept it at any time.  It is hard for our fleshly minds to grasp the fact of something free.  We question what will be asked of us as we welcome this gift into our lives.  Guess what?  He asks only for you to trust Him.  He will take care of all your needs, comfort you during trials, bring laughter to your life, ease all anxieties and ask only of one thing; that you tell others.  Take His Word and spread the good news.  Equip yourselves by studying Scripture and be ready to give all the details.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

God, thank you for this day.  Thank You for Grace.  I know I am forgiven, accepted and loved by You.  Use me as a vessel to spread this good news to all I meet.  I am ready to serve You.  Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.  I love You.

Keep praying harder than the devil can work.
