Do You Know the ONE in HIGH PLACES?

My husband prepares year round for the weekend we just completed.  His behind the scene work often goes unnoticed.  As a guest to the event, you simply enjoy yourself.  Being a guest, not a volunteer, hinders your understanding of what preparations actually occur to make the weekend successful.  Sometimes things do not go as planned and Plan B must come to the rescue.  Other times Plan B falls through and you just have to roll with the punches.

Being that my husband plays an important role in the event, we received royal treatment.  Our hotel room adjoined a second room with a couch, two chairs, another bathroom and a dining table.  Upon arriving at the field, we drove on into the complex, set up registration and received shirts as "staff" members.  After the day was done, we enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant.  The following day, at the banquet, we sat front row and went through the food line first.  It feels good to know people in high places from time to time.

"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.  I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." (Romans 8:16-18)

"Clap your hands, all you nations;
   shout to God with cries of joy.
 For the LORD Most High is awesome,
   the great King over all the earth." (Psalm 47:1-2)

Guess what?  Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, living life according to Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to work within you creates a life full of royal treatment.  God created us in His image; therefore, we are His children.  Accepting Him brings unending joy, a place prepared for you in Heaven and peaceful travels here on Earth.

Although we know the One in High Places, the work He does behind the scenes exceeds our imagination.  He works 24/7 for us.  He prepares each day, each detail in life and creates numerous plans in case the intended one went sour.  He remains ready and willing to be active in your life.  You just need to accept Him, acknowledge Him and become a servant to Christ.  Becoming a servant may be hard, but the benefits far outweigh the labor.  It feels AMAZING to know the ONE in HIGH PLACES!

God, thank you for another day.  Thank You for blessing our weekend and allowing us to see You at work.  I appreciate all the royal treatment provided by You.  I stand in awe of the work You do to save me numerous times daily.  Thank You for protection, comfort, love, peace and joy.  I love You.

Keep praying harder than the devil can work.
